Aid agencies are currently responding to multiple wildfires across the state of Colorado, providing shelter, food, basic needs and help with recovery.

If you would like to assist in these efforts, financial support to voluntary agencies responding to disasters is the most effective way to help.

You can make a donation and find more information at helpcoloradonow.org.

Fireworks bans and warnings:

Gov. John Hickenlooper has issued an Executive Order that bans open burning and private use of fireworks throughout Colorado because of very dry conditions and high fire danger.

Commercial, professional and municipal fireworks displays are allowed when written approval has been granted by the sheriff of the county in which the fireworks display is to occur. Check with your city to find out if fireworks displays will be held in your area.
